I wanted to compare it to my Pixelbook. (At twice the price or more). One of them could stay and one would have to go.All of that said, after about three weeks with the C434, I decided to return it and ended up purchasing the HP X360. Here are my reasons.but using it during the day was a frustration for me I couldn’t get over. I was going to hold out for the C434 i5 with 8GB of RAM but I ultimately concluded that that price point would not come close to the X360 at its discounted price.but ultimately this was a tradeoff I was willing to make (although I still struggle with I have noticed that Google Play Apps seem to run better on the X360 but I’m not sure why The result is the display “guessing” some of your touches near the faulty area and the left side of the display was overall less responsive to touch but it turns out that the first one had that too and I didn’t notice. It’s okay, doesn’t affect anything and it’s hard to notice. I would suggest NOT returning it because of the touchpad, yet this one flops hard due to quality control, while competitors have a bad display, are larger/heavier or have a fan, or a weaker hinge.
you get used to them they’re an absolute joy to use. The hinge is perfectly tight, it doesn’t budge with hard taps, no bouncing, and no way it’s gonna fall back. It charges from either side. This design with the newest M3 seems the like right way to do it. Ah, and the speakers are great. They feel like speakers you can use without complaining, they don’t sound bad at all.If you get bored, use it as an android tablet. You can play games, run any app for movies or music or social media, whatever you wanna do.This laptop is powerful enough to run any 2D game, and most lightweight 3D games. Most Google results skip some VERY important steps required to have proper audio and video support.it’s not just this Chromebook. Most Chromebooks with 8th gen CPUs are not supported yet. Please rate this helpful so that I can hopefully help other buyers make an informed decision. Nobody should have to return devices repeatedly because of the manufacturer’s negligence. Not that you’ll ever need it with this amazing build quality, but worth noting. I could buy the Dell for twice it’s price and still think it’s a good value.
the construction feels solid and the dimensions are nice. I wanted to like this but I much prefer my C302 and will be selling this. tiny font of the keys combined with the metallic reflective surface of the keys makes it still hard to read. It makes the beautiful small bezel screen irrelevant.you can even use a portable back up battery though both of these will charge slowly. Still, it’s a good option in a pinch.the money I would have like to have seen a more consistent finish.Overall, I am very pleased with the product and I would buy it again. The Asus Flip 434 is my first venture into Chrome. It’s my first ever laptop/notebook computer as well. The BT connections for both the KB and mouse were a snap to setup and work great. As our office expands I will probably purchase a ChromeBox or two. When talking about Chrome, you have to confirm the platform and version, since the timing of feature releases can vary.
