while also offering a matte display, substantially better performance, user upgradability, and similar build quality.Overall happy with the purchase. There are a few disappointments as well. I’m not happy with this and I am returning for a refund. Will not purchase any Razer products in the future. My initial impressions are positive. My “Graphics” version weighs in a 2lb 15oz on my postal scale, and configure things the way you want (a 5 minute process at best, assuming you have an account set up.The laptop’s appearance and quality is what I’d expected. Fingers crossed it’ll hold up as a winner. The case is very robust and does not flex like some of the bigger laptops I had previously owned (toshiba) and I really do not miss the heft of my old Dell workstations.spend 4 days in warehouse (promised one day turn around time) and finally 4 days to get the laptop back (ground shipping and was promised 2nd day air.I was basically looking for the most powerful 13-14 inch laptop that could be charged with USB C. Lets keep it simple…where I needed a capable laptop quick so i could work remotely. it hits nearly every checkbox. The CPU is plenty powerful for my web dev/app dev work
Because of this my fan spins up less, and when it does its quiet, and it stays cool.the laptop has no LTE option (very few laptops do, and ZERO with GPUs do When I get some time with it, I will post my personal benchmarks and thoughts.the fps drops fast even with the nvidia Mx150. But all in all it’s awesome! you can buy 30w charger from anker and it’s like the size of your phone charger The location of the right shift key is horrible and takes a lot of time to get used to. I’m a touch typist and this could be the most annoying thing about it. Also, you don’t get the context menu key. I guess it is because the screws are painted the same way the unit itself is causing the screw-driver not to gain sufficient grip on them. This laptop is portable, speakers are great, the MX150 performs well in lower settings on even this generation of games. However there are some limitations with game use After removing the drivers and letting windows reinstall the charger is working. Left USB-C is a little fiddly. Need to play with it in order to get it working correctly. But it’s not too difficult.
just the port issue for me to deduct the star. These types of issues shouldn’t happen in a product this premium. bit even with extreme battery saving measures I barely get 4 hours of basic web browsing and office use.because I need a desktop but I also need a laptop. It is amazing for its size definitely. Out of the box, the rubber on the bottom of the laptop was uneven and cause the laptop to tilt. I’ve called them and they have asked for 24 to 48 more hours to figure out what to do. I’m very underwhelmed by the quality of their support, The equipment is reliable for the execution of design programs. I have been using a month without inconvenience. if you don’t have 30 years of touch typing muscle memory jammed into your hands – this won’t bother you one bit. But if you’re like me – it’s almost crippling.. I love the new Razer Stealth, it is virtually the perfect laptop for me. It would be the perfect laptop – if it wasn’t for the damn keyboard.
